Police charge man after domestic-related wounding - Greenacre

A man will face court today charged over a domestic-related wounding at Greenacre overnight.

About 10.45pm (Saturday 30 November 2019) police were called to a unit on Lascelles Ave, Greenacre, following reports of an altercation between two men.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

A 29-year-old man was treated by paramedics for a chest wound, before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with reckless wounding (DV).

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 1 December 2019).

The men are known to each other.
