A man will face court today after police seized methylamphetamine during a vehicle stop near Dubbo at the weekend.
About 8.30pm on Saturday (25 July 2020), officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District stopped a white Kia Cerato sedan traveling on Severne Street, Geurie, about 30km north west of Dubbo, and spoke with the occupants.
During a search of the Kia, police allegedly located 88g of methylamphetamine, which has an estimated potential street value of nearly $88,000.
The passenger, a 44-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity) and possess prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court today (Monday 27 July 2020).
