Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man with murder following an incident in Endeavour Hills on Sunday.
Police were called to a property on Monteith Crescent just after 2pm following reports a man had been injured.
The 39-year-old Endeavour Hills man was treated by emergency services but died at the scene.
A 55-year-old Endeavour Hills man was arrested at the scene.
He was interviewed by Homicide Squad detectives and subsequently charged.
The man appeared at Melbourne Magistrates' court earlier today and was remanded to appear again on 6 December.
