Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an alleged stabbing in Epping last night.
Emergency services were called to reports of a 49-year-old man located with stab wounds near a skate park on McDonalds Road shortly before 11pm.
The Reservoir man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since been stabilised.
A 32-year-old Epping man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, armed robbery, attempted traffick drug of dependence, and possess controlled weapon.
He will appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 27 March.
