Bendigo police have charged a Long Gully man with over 30 charges following an alleged erratic driving incident along the McIvor Highway earlier this month.
The 29-year-old man received 33 charges including exposure of emergency worker to risk by driving, drug driving and dangerous driving while being pursued.
The charges follow the attempted and then subsequent intercept of the driver after he failed to stop for police between Bendigo and Axedale on 3 January between 2.20 and 2.40pm.
It is alleged the black Nissan Tiida hatchback was swerving between lanes while increasing and decreasing speed erratically before police intercepted the vehicle in Junortoun about 3pm.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Bendigo County Court on 31 March.
