Detectives from Major Collision Investigation Unit have charged a man following a fatal collision which occurred at Bellbrae on Wednesday.
Investigators have been told a truck and two cars collided at the intersection of Moores and Anglesea roads about 5.30pm on 11 May.
A passenger in one of the cars, a 65-year-old Bellbrae woman, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of that car, a 63-year-old Bellbrae woman, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the other car involved, a 49-year-old Bellbrae man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and stopped at the scene.
A 45-year-old Thornhill Park man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, and dangerous driving causing serious injury.
He was remanded to appear before Geelong Magistrates' Court today.
