Homicide Squad detectives charged a man yesterday, following an alleged fatal drive-by shooting in Hampton Park in April.
A 21-year-old Cranbourne North man has been charged with murder.
The charge follows an incident where emergency services were called to reports of a man located in a vehicle on Bride Avenue with a gunshot wound, about 12.30am on 27 April.
A 30-year-old Cranbourne man died at the scene.
In addition to murder, the 21-year-old Cranbourne man has been charged with conduct endangering life, attempted murder and conspiracy to commit kidnap in relation to separate incidents.
He is expected to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court later today.
