Police Charge Man After Incident - Central Coast

A man will appear in court today after being charged following an incident on the Central Coast yesterday (Monday 15 July 2024).

About 11.30am yesterday, officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District attended an address on Hanlan Street, Narara, to arrest a man in relation to alleged domestic violence offences.

When he refused to leave the premises, police negotiated with the man for several hours before he was arrested about 5.20pm.

The 41-year-old man has been taken to Gosford Police Station and assessed by NSW Ambulance.

He was charged with Assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.

He was refused bail to appear before Gosford Local Court today (Tuesday 16 July 2024).
