Central Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man after a firearm was allegedly discharged in Maryborough earlier this month.
It's alleged a man discharged a firearm from a silver utility in the direction of three people who were sitting in their vehicle at the intersection of High and Dodds streets Maryborough on Thursday 2 December about 7.30pm.
A 24-year-old Dunolly man was arrested by the Special Operations Group in an allegedly stolen silver utility on Tuesday 21 December in High Street, Wedderburn about 12.30pm.
Detectives seized a firearm from the vehicle.
The man was charged with forty offences including conduct endangering life, handle stolen goods, possess methylamphetamine and various firearms offences.
He was remanded to appear at the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on 14 January.
