Police have charged a man following a pursuit in Melbourne's north-west on today.
Officers were notified of a silver Holden commodore wagon driving erratically in Harkness about 1.45pm on Saturday, 11 January.
Air Wing tracked the allegedly stolen Holden through Melton.
It is alleged the Holden crashed into a parked car on Bakery Square before it continued on.
A pursuit was initiated after the Holden allegedly failed to stop for police in Crestmont Street, Melton South about 2pm.
It came to stop on a pedestrian crossing in a shopping centre carpark on High Street, Melton West and the driver allegedly ran into the centre.
A 32-year-old Officer man was arrested about 2.10pm.
It is believed the Holden was stolen from a Beveridge property about 11.20am.
The man has subsequently been charged with a string of offences including dangerous driving while being pursued by police, drive at speed dangerous, drive in manner dangerous, theft of motor vehicle, theft, obtain property by deception, unlicenced driving and reckless conduct endangering life.
He has been remanded to face Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
