Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man following an alleged assault in Rockbank yesterday afternoon.
A 46-year-old Rockbank man was yesterday charged with intentionally cause injury, reckless conduct endanger life and prohibited person possess firearm.
He was remanded overnight to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today.
The charges follow an incident on Wednesday, 11 January where police were called to reports of an altercation at a caravan park in Rockbank around 2.30pm.
Police will allege the man shot at a 44-year-old St Albans woman with a BB gun.
She was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police believe the parties were known to each other.
