Police Charge Man After Shots Fired At Dunedoo

A man will face court charged following alleged shots fired in the Dunedoo area yesterday.

About 1.50pm (Tuesday 17 September 2024), police were called to Patrick Road, Dunedoo, following reports of shots fired in the area.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following inquiries, about 9.50pm, police attended a property on Patrick Road, Dunedoo and arrested a 64-year-old man.

During a search of the property, officers located and seized six firearms and the man's firearms permit.

The man was taken to Dunedoo Police Station, where he issued a future court attendance notice for fire firearm manner likely injure persons/property.

He will appear at Coonabarabran Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 20 September 2024).
