Police charge man after South Melbourne warrant

Prahran Frontline Tactical Unit have charged a man following the execution of a warrant in South Melbourne Thursday morning, 23 December.

Investigators executed the warrant at an address on Dorcas Street around 6.30am.

Police arrested a man and seized nearly $60,000 cash, a large amount of prescription medication, mobile phones, laptops, clothing, cigarettes and electrical equipment.

A 37-year-old South Melbourne man was charged with trafficking a drug of dependence, possessing the proceeds of crime and bail offences.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 24 December.
