Police Charge Man After Stabbing At Auburn

A man has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Sydney's west today.

About 6.50am today (Monday 31 March 2025) emergency services were called to a house on Norman Street, Auburn, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command attended and found a 44-year-old man had been stabbed.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Police established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following inquiries, a 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

He was taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with person intend to cause grievous bodily harm (DV).

He was refused bail to appear at Burwood Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 1 April 2025).
