Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man after another man was hit by a car in Stonehaven on Saturday evening.
The 42-year-old Stonehaven man has been charged with culpable driving and dangerous driving causing death.
The charges follow an incident in a paddock just off Fyansford-Gheringhap Road where it is believed a man was hit by a vehicle on 28 January about 9.30pm.
Sadly, a 52-year-old Bannockburn man died at the scene.
The man has been held over to appear before Geelong Magistrates' Court on Monday.
