Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man this afternoon following the death of a man in Whittington last week.
A 35-year-old Connewarre man has been charged with murder and will face Geelong Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
A 34-year-old woman who was arrested with him in Corio this morning has been released pending further enquiries.
The charge follows the death of a 47-year-old Whittington man on 14 October.
