Police Charge Man Over Bridgewater Firearms Incident

A 30 year old Gagebrook man has been charged over a firearms incident at Bridgewater on Tuesday night.

The man has been charged with:

– Aggravated Assault x3

– Aggravated burglary

– Causing grievous bodily harm

– Wounding

– Possess a firearm when not the holder of a firearm licence of the appropriate category

– Recklessly Discharge a Firearm

– Trafficking in controlled substance (minor offence)

He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
