A man will appear in court today charged over the alleged glassing of another man in Woollahra last night.
Police have bee told about 7pm (Saturday 17 August 2019), two 33-year-old men were at a licensed premises on Queen Street, when a 24-year-old man approached them and became involved in an argument.
Soon after, the younger man, an English National, allegedly threw a glass, striking the jaw of one of the men, causing a laceration.
Security detained him before officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command arrived to make an arrest.
He was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with reckless wounding and refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 18 August 2019).
The 33-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital for stitches and has since been discharged.
