Police have charged a man following an incident in Moe that involved two children in a car yesterday.
It's alleged a small grey Toyota sedan pulled into a parking bay on Lloyd Street on Saturday 6 November about 1.50pm when a man got out of the car and started pouring petrol on the roof.
The female driver of the car drove off with the two children and the man allegedly fled from the area.
The female and children weren't physically injured and it's believed the man and woman are known to each other.
A 22-year-old Newborough man was arrested last night after he attended a police station. He been charged with six offences including recklessly cause serious injury and common law assault.
He will face the Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
