Police Charge Man Over Online Threat At Bankstown

A man will face court after allegedly making an online threat in Sydney's south west.

On Wednesday (5 March 2025), officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation into an alleged online threat made on a social media site relating to an educational facility in Lakemba.

Following inquiries, about 8am today (Thursday 13 March 2025), police arrested a 53-year-old man at a home on Chisholm Crescent, Bradbury.

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm and use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 27 March 2025.
