A man has been charged following an alleged peep and pry incident in Sydney's east.
About 2pm on Friday 10 January 2025, a man was seen peering into a window of a unit complex in Mount Street, Coogee.
The occupant, a 29-year-old woman, told her flatmate, a 30-year-old man about the incident.
About 11:45am on Sunday 12 January 2025, the flatmate saw the man again walking into the unit complex where he confronted him before calling police.
On arrival, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command questioned a 50-year-old man, who denied being in the area.
Following inquiries, the man attended Maroubra Police Station yesterday (Monday 13 January 2025) where he was arrested and charged with peep and pry.
He was given conditional bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 22 January 2025.
