Police charge man over Wendouree shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives have arrested and charged a man after another man was seriously injured in a shooting in Wendouree yesterday.

The 49-year-old Ballarat man, who was arrested in Melton Monday evening, has been charged with attempted murder, intentionally cause serious injury, prohibited person possess firearm and reckless conduct endangering life.

He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 21 April 2020.

The charges follow a shooting incident outside a Clover Street address in which a 25-year-old Wendouree man was seriously injured on Monday 20 April about 3pm.
