Police Charge Man With Drug Offences At Deniliquin

A man has been charged with drug offences in the State's South.

About 1pm yesterday (Tuesday 3 September 2024), officers attached to Murray River Police District executed a firearms prohibition order and search warrant at a unit in Maher Street Deniliquin.

Police seized a quantity of methylamphetamine and cash.

A 33-year-old male was arrested at the scene.

Police will allege in court the man gave a false pin for his mobile phone.

He was taken to Deniliquin Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug >indictable &

He was refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court today (Wednesday 4 September 2024).
