Police Charge Man With Graffiti Offences In Launceston

A 44 year old Ravenswood man has been charged with graffiti offences in Launceston.

Several vehicles and letter boxes in Bailey St, Leslie St and Westbury Road in South Launceston were damaged with spray paint with the tag "EZ" overnight between 15-16 August.

Several complaints were received from members of the public.

Today police have charged a 44 year old man from Ravenswood with those offences from South Launceston. The man was also charged with several graffiti offences with the tag "EZ" from the Ravenswood area.

The man will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police are still actively investigating several other graffiti offences that have been committed in an around the Launceston area where this tag was used.
