A man has been charged after the body of a woman was found in Sydney's south yesterday.
About 12.30am (Tuesday 20 October 2020), emergency services were called to a unit complex in Cremona Road, Como following reports the body of a woman was found in a driveway.
The 39-year-old woman died at the scene.
Officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command established a crime scene and, under Strike Force Neale, and commenced an investigation with assistance from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
Following extensive inquiries, detectives arrested a 39-year-old man, who was known to the woman, at a home in Sylvania just after 9.30am.
He was taken to Sutherland Police Station where he was charged with murder (DV).
The man was refused bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court today (Wednesday 21 October 2020).
