A man has been charged with sexually touching a woman at a train station in Sydney's north-west.
About 1pm on Friday (7 February 2025), police were told a 20-year-old woman was approached by a man, not known to her, who allegedly sexually touched her when she exited a train at Riverstone Railway Station.
The woman reported the incident to Riverstone Police Station.
Officers attached to Police Transport Command North West Sector began an investigation.
Following inquiries, police attended a home on Chester Street, Mount Druitt, and arrested a 78-year-old man.
He was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station before he was transported to Nepean Hospital under police guard.
The man was charged with sexually touch another person without consent.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Wednesday 26 February 2025.
