A 30-year-old Parkham man has been charged with drug trafficking and firearms offences following a planned police operation yesterday.
Detectives and specialist officers searched two Parkham properties and located $30,000 in cash as well as quantities of cannabis and methamphetamine, and a sawn off firearm.
The man has been charged with trafficking and several firearms offences and will appear in the Devonport Magistrates Court today.
A 40-year-old woman will also be proceeded against for offences relating to property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
