Police Charge Seven After Affray In Camperdown

Police have charged seven people following an alleged affray in Camperdown on Sunday, 19 January.

Officers responded to reports of the affray on Bowen Street about 8.30pm.

No one was injured.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Camperdown property and located and seized a number of weapons, including a machete, a baseball bat and a baton torch.

Two youths from the Corangamite area, aged 16 and 17, were charged with affray and weapons offences.

The pair were bailed to appear before a children's court at a later date.

Two men, aged 22 and 61, and two women, aged 21 and 51, were charged with affray and weapons offences.

All four from Camperdown, were bailed to appear before Warrnambool Magistrates' Court on 17 March.

An 18-year-old Camperdown man was remanded to appear before Warrnambool Magistrates' Court on 22 January.
