Seven teens have been arrested after three vehicles were stolen and a police car rammed on the Central Coast.
About 2.30am (Monday 12 February 2024), officers from Brisbane Water Police District attempted to stop three vehicles, a Mercedes, BMW X5 and a Porsche, believed to be stolen from St Hubert Island, on the Central Coast.
Two teens were arrested after the BMW allegedly rammed a police vehicle.
There were no injuries, and they were taken to Gosford Police station, where they are assisting police with inquiries.
Two occupants were allegedly seen to exit the Porsche and enter the Mercedes which drove away from the scene.
A pursuit was initiated when the vehicle failed to stop. It was terminated a short time later due to the manner of driving.
The vehicle was sighted travelling along the M1 Motorway towards Sydney.
The vehicle continued along the Old Pacific Highway, Pennant Hills, before the vehicle came to a stop on the Great Western Highway near Toongabbie Road, Toongabbie, just after 4am.
Five teens were arrested and been taken to Granville and Merrylands Police station, where they are assisting police with inquiries.
An investigation has commenced by Detectives from Brisbane Water Police District into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
