Police Charge Six Over Brawl At Dubbo

Two teenagers and four adults have been charged following an alleged brawl at Dubbo yesterday.

Police were called to Aldrin Avenue, about 3pm (Monday 25 November 2024), responding to reports of people fighting.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and found a crowd of up to 40 people fighting.

Additional police were called to assist with OC spray deployed to effect the arrest of six people.

They were taken to Dubbo Police Station where all have now been charged.

The woman, aged 36, was charged with use unregistered motor vehicle on road, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty, armed with intent commit indictable offence, and affray.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with affray, while an 18-year-old man has been charged with affray, and refuse/fail to comply with direction.

All three were refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court today (Tuesday 26 November 2024).

A 16-year-old boy was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm and affray, while a 17-year-old boy was charged with custody of knife in public place.

Both were refused bail to appear before a children's court today.

A 33-year-old woman was charged with affray and has been granted conditional bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 18 December 2024.
