Police have charged a man after 12 vehicles were damaged in Wagga Wagga.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District were called to Berry Street, Wagga Wagga, shortly after 11.30am yesterday (Wednesday 1 January 2025), after the windscreens of 12 vehicles were found smashed.
A short time later, police arrested a 50-year-old man on Edward Street, Wagga Wagga.
He was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital to be treated for cuts before being released into police custody and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station.
He has now been charged with 12 counts of malicious damage.
The man been refused bail and to appear via AVL at Parramatta Local Court later today (Thursday 2 January 2024.
