Police Charge Three Men After Theft Of Tiny House

Detectives from the Echo Taskforce have charged three men overnight following the seizure of a tiny home during a warrant at the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang club house in Alphington on Friday.

With assistance from the VIPER Taskforce, North West Metro Regional Crime Squad and Southern Metro Regional Crime Squad, five search warrants were executed on Sunday, 1 December at residential addresses in Cranbourne North, Melbourne, Cranbourne South, Clyde and at a storage facility in Cranbourne West.

A 33-year-old Cranbourne North man, believed to be a chapter president of the Hells Angels OMCG, was charged with theft, possess steroids and prohibited person possess firearm.

He was remanded to appear at Frankston Magistrates' Court today.

A shotgun was located under the tiny home and a quantity of white powder, believed to be a drug of dependence, steroids and a signal jammer were seized from his Cranbourne North address.

A 31-year-old Cranbourne South man was charged with possess ammunition and possess drug of dependence.

He was bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates' Court on 20 January.

A 35-year-old Clyde man was charged with possess drug of dependence.

He was bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates' Court on 17 January.

The charges follow the execution of a warrant at the Heidelberg Road address shortly after 10am on Friday, 29 November with assistance from the Special Operations Group.

Police seized a miniature property, which is alleged to have been stolen from a Campbellfield business in June this year.

The home, which is valued at approximately $70,000, was in the process of being renovated.

As part of the investigation into the theft, police identified that it had been transported to the OMCG clubhouse in Alphington.
