Police Charge Three Men Over Aggravated Armed Robbery

An 18 year-old Shearwater man, a 29 year old Bridgewater man and a 20 year old Glenorchy man have been jointly charged in relation to an aggravated armed robbery involving a firearm which was committed in Port Sorell on Thursday 22 August.

A man, and several witnesses, were allegedly threatened with a firearm and a Holden Commodore was subsequently stolen during the incident.

No one was physically injured.

The Holden Commodore was later located in Lindisfarne yesterday and seized.

All three men have been detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
