Police Charge Two After Assault - Wamberal

A man and woman have been charged following an alleged assault on the Central Coast.

About 3.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 August 2025), police were called to Pacific Street, Wamberal, following reports of an altercation.

At the scene, police were told several people were allegedly involved in the incident.

Minor injuries were reported to police; however, those involved declined medical treatment.

Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, about 2pm today (13 August 2025), a 61-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman attended Gosford Police Station where they were arrested, and each charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and affray.

They were granted conditional bail to appear before Gosford Local Court on Thursday 4 September 2025.
