Police Charge Two After Stabbing - Mosman

Two men will face court charged after a teenage boy was stabbed on Sydney's north shore last night.

Just before 11pm on Friday (18 July 2025), emergency services were called to Awaba Street, Mosman, following reports of a stabbing.

On arrival, officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command found a 16-year-old boy suffering a stab wound to his thigh.

Police were told he had been stabbed and assaulted by two men before he ran from the scene.

The boy was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established, and investigations commenced into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following inquiries, police arrested two men – aged 18 and 20 – at the scene.

They were taken to Chatswood Police Station where the younger man was charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, affray, common assault and stalk / intimidate intent fear physical harm.

The older man was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.

They have been refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 19 July 2025).
