Police Charge Two After Three Men Stabbed At Dubbo

Police have charged two men after three people were stabbed at Dubbo early yesterday.

Emergency services were called to Talbragar Street just after 3am (Saturday 31 May 2025), following reports of an alleged stabbing.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were told three men – two aged 29 and one aged 21 – were allegedly stabbed by two men.

They were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Dubbo Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.

About 10.40pm, police arrested a 27-year-old man on O'Donnell Street, Dubbo. A 23-year-old man was arrested about an hour later at a home on Alcheringa Street, Dubbo.

They were taken to Dubbo Police Station where the older man was charged with three counts of reckless wounding – in company, affray, and use etc offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention.

They were refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 1 June 2025) via AVL.
