Police charge two men after aggravated break and enter at Albury

Two men will appear in court today charged after an alleged aggravated break and enter in Albury overnight.

About 3.20am today (Friday 27 August 2021), officers attached to Murray River Police District responded to reports of a break and enter at a business premises on Drome Street, East Albury.

Upon arrival, officers were told two men had allegedly forced entry into the business and a caravan on the property, before allegedly causing damaging and stealing money from a woman.

Officers spoke with two men at the scene, aged 38 and 34, who were arrested.

They were taken to Albury Police Station and were charged with robbery in company, aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal

The men were refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court today (Friday 27 August 2021).
