Police Charge Two Over Drug Supply At Forster

A man and woman will face court charged over alleged drug supply offences in Forster following a police investigation.

As part of an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs within the Forster area, officers attached to Manning/Great Lakes Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Oceanic Street, Forster, about 6.40pm on Wednesday 6 November 2024.

During the search, police allegedly located approximately 5kg of cannabis, several electronic devices, and $50,000 in cash.

The items were seized and will undergo forensic examination.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Forster Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity), and deal with property proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and appeared before Forster Local Court yesterday (Thursday 7 November 2024), where he was granted conditional bail, to appear before the same court on Monday 11 November 2024.

About 3pm yesterday (Thursday 7 November 2024), a 39-year-old woman – who was present during the search warrant – was issued a court attendance notice for supply prohibited drug (greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity), and deal with property proceeds of crime.

She will appear before Forster Local Court on Monday 11 November 2024.
