Police Charge Two Over Drug Supply - Central Coast

A man and woman have been charged over alleged drug supply offences following a vehicle stop at Tuggerah earlier this week.

About 9am on Tuesday 12 November 2024, Tuggerah Lakes Police stopped a vehicle on Joule Place, Tuggerah, following a concern for welfare report.

During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized over 60ml of 1,4-Butanediol and 7.17g of methamphetamine.

A 24-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested at the scene and taken to Wyong Police Station where they were charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug (greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity), possess prohibited drug, and drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.

They were refused bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on Wednesday 13 November 2024, where she was granted strict conditional bail to appear before the same court on Wednesday 27 November 2024.
