Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman following a fatal crash in Euroa on 1 March.
It is alleged a white Ford Econovan was travelling on Forlonge Memorial Road when it crashed into a tree about 5pm.
The passenger, a 21-year-old woman, died at the scene.
The driver, a 21-year-old woman, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
She has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 6 March.
