Police Charge Woman After Man Stabbed - Bass Hill

A woman is due to appear in court today charged after a man was allegedly stabbed at Bass Hill overnight.

About 8.40pm yesterday (Monday 21 October 2024), emergency services were called to a unit on Beatrice Street and found a 60-year-old man with a stab wound to his back.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command arrested a 43-year-old woman at the unit before taking her to Bankstown Police Station.

She has now been charged with reckless wounding (DV), and contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO.

She has been refused bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court today (Tuesday 22 October 2024).
