A woman has been charged after a man's body was located in Epping yesterday morning.
About 11am (Saturday 15 June 2024), officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were called to a home on Damon Street, following reports of a concern for welfare.
On arrival, police located the body of a man. While he is yet to be formally identified, he is believed to be aged in his 60's.
A woman – aged 60 was arrested at the scene and taken to Gladesville Police Station where she was charged with murder.
Initial inquiries have led police to believe the man and woman are known to each other.
The woman was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Sunday 16 June 2024).
