Police Charge Woman After Police Seize Drugs At Parkes

A woman will face court charged next week after police seize drugs following a search warrant in the state's Central West.

About 10.30am yesterday (Monday 26 August 2024), police executed a search warrant at a home on Junction Street, Parkes.

During the search officers located and seized crystalised substance – believed to be methylamphetamine, cannabis, a flick knife, and a mobile phone.

A 53-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station.

She was charged with possess prohibited drug, take part supply cannabis over indictable and under commercial quantity, and supply prohibited drug over indictable and under commercial quantity.

The woman was given conditional bail to appear at Parkes Local Court on Thursday 5 September 2024.
