Police Charge Woman Over Domestic Violence - Epping

A woman has been charged with alleged domestic violence offences in Sydney's north west.

About 11am yesterday, Friday 27 December 2024, emergency services were called to a house in Lilli Pilli Street, Epping following reports a man was injured.

A 38-year-old man was found at the scene with a laceration to his leg. He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

Police will allege in court a woman threw a knife at the man, who is known to her, causing bleeding to his leg.

Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command attended Royal North Shore Hospital where they arrested a 53-year-old woman.

She was taken to Gladesville Police Station where she was charged with reckless wounding (DV).

She was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today, Saturday 28 December 2024.
