Police Hunt Clues in Alice Springs Aggravated Robbery 3 December

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery and aggravated assault that occurred in Alice Springs overnight.

At 12.40am this morning, a male and a female youth reportedly unlawfully entered a residence on Patterson Crescent in Larapinta. The female offender was allegedly armed with an edged weapon and threatened the sole occupant, a 61-year-old female, demanding her vehicle keys.

The male offender allegedly assaulted the victim multiple times with a blunt weapon resulting in injuries to her arm and shoulder.

The offenders stole a set of keys and fled in the victim's vehicle, a red Mazda 3.

St John Ambulance members treated the victim at the scene for her injuries.

The offenders and stolen motor vehicle remain outstanding, and investigations are ongoing.
