Police Hunt Clues in Alice Springs Assault

Northern Territory Police are calling for information regarding an indecent assault that occurred yesterday morning in Alice Springs.

At 6.30am on Sunday 20 October, a female aged in her 40s was walking near ANZAC Hill with two friends. A group of six males crossed the Stuart Highway and were in a nearby carpark on Schwarz Crescent, before they allegedly approached the victim as she walked past.

One of the males allegedly indecently assaulted the victim before the group fled the scene in a northeast direction.

The males were described as Aboriginal in appearance and are believed to be aged in their teens.
