Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a vehicle was stolen and driven dangerously last night in Alice Springs.
Around 10.10pm, an unknown number of offenders have allegedly unlawfully entered a residence in East Side before stealing a grey Toyota Corolla. The vehicle was observed driving erratically through the CBD with a pursuit terminated due to the dangerous behaviour of the offending vehicle.
Around 2am, the vehicle allegedly drove past a police vehicle on Railway Terrace and threw a rock through the windscreen, injuring an officer inside with glass debris. She was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital, treated for glass debris in her eyes and released.
The vehicle continued to target police before fleeing the CBD.
The vehicle remains outstanding.

Commander James Gray-Spence said "I commend the efforts of our brave police whose conduct last night in keeping the community safe stands in stark contrast to the absolutely disgusting behaviour of the offenders involved in this incident.
