Police Hunt Clues in Katherine Aggravated Burglary

Northern Territory Police are calling for information following an aggravated burglary at a service station in Katherine late last night.

About 10:16pm the Joint Emergency Services Communications Centre received a report of an incident at a service station on the Victoria Highway where a large quantity of cigarettes were stolen.

Five male offenders entered the service station by smashing a front glass door and an office door causing about $20,000 worth of damage.

The offenders have then stolen about $15,000 worth of cigarettes and an amount of cash.

CCTV footage of the incident then captured the men leaving the scene in a white hatchback vehicle.
