Police Hunt Clues in Katherine Aggravated Robbery 6 January

The Northern Territory Police Force are calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Katherine early this morning.

Around 4:15am, Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that a group of three unknown males entered a service station on Bicentennial Road and allegedly threw rocks and store items at the employee, striking her on the arm.

The victim and a security officer were able to get to safety, before one of the alleged offenders jumped over the counter and stole a quantity of cigarettes and all fled the scene on foot.

The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.

Investigations are ongoing.
