Detectives are appealing for information after shots were fired at a home near Newcastle last week.
About 4.30am on Wednesday 29 January 2025, police were called to Lake Road, Elermore Vale, following reports of shots fired.
On arrival, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District found projectiles had struck the front of a house and a vehicle.
There were no reports of injuries.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident commenced by Newcastle City Detectives.
As inquiries continue, detectives wish to speak with the driver of a vehicle seen in the area at the time of the incident.
The vehicle is described as a silver Holden Commodore Ute with rear-end damage.
